I remember back then, people were making memes of a similar creature, but when the creator stated that they didn't want it to become a meme )as they wanted to use it as a personal avatar), the person in the Identity V community made tbh as a replacement that could be used. That's at least what I remember of it's origins. It's so nice to see how far it has come :)
