Based on the way the TBH’s move, their features, and the sounds they make as they run, they appear to be two completely separate species, or perhaps they go through a metamorphosis of sorts as they age as they appear to completely change body types and grow claws. The Prey TBH appears to be some kind of ungulate, such as an antelope or horse, while the Predator TBH appears to be reptilian in nature, based on the fact that the two front limbs move separately as it runs except for when it pounces, and it stays lower to the ground when it moves. Additionally, the Prey TBH does not run immediately when it sees the Predator TBH coming, so I would bet that it did not see the Predator TBH, it heard it, and prepared to run but did not go immediately as it was still unsure. I would guess that the Predator TBH stalks in the underbrush/tall grasses, as it stays low to the ground when it sprints and then jumps out of its cover to attack. Overall a unique evolutionary strategy; it’s possible that the Prey TBH was wounded, sick, very young, or just caught off guard, as it was caught very quickly by the Predator. Very good animation

I love how this animation truly captures how predator and prey feel, how determined the predator was to attack it’s food and how desperate the prey was to live, the dilation shows so much feelings through this animation

I’ve watched this at least 15 times in a row, in one sitting.

I watch a bunch of documentaries and you really captured the dynamics between a predator and prey. Like, the eyes dilating out of fear from the smaller TBH before it runs, and then the larger TBH’s eyes also dilating out of excitement/anticipation is so good (in a gruesome way.) Great Work!

I had a theory that TBH creatures are nocturnal cats related to bob cats that live very high up in mountains. additionally I guess some canibalize there young. and they’re extremely social.

the one detail I really love here is how you both added hoof sound effects when the prey tbh creature was running and how the prey tbh almost jumps and runs like a goat or something, it just gives it an extra bit of detail I like.
