STARFIELD How To Set Up INTERSTELLAR CARGO LINKS

In this video I will be showing you how to set up Interstellar Cargo Links in Starfield!
I will also be going over how to set up and use normal Cargo Links.
For many people the Interstellar Cargo Links will not work as you will need to use Helium 3 to power the Cargo Link!

The first cargo link is for linking outposts in the same system, not on the same planet.

OK so I believe a lot of folks are getting the two Cargo link pads confused, the regular cargo pad will allow you to move materials within the same solar system, it's not planet based its solar system based, it works for all planets in that same solar system, the interstellar cargo link will allow you to move materials within two or more solar systems, for example the "Cheyenne solar system" to the "Narian solar system".

Finally! Thanks for that. I've been bashing my head against the wall trying to work out why mine wasn't working. Turns out you don't need a He3 generator at all, only the gas storage, and the storage must be connected to the fuel tank! Nowhere in the game does it tell you this, or even provide a single hint. I was messing around for hours trying to connect a generator to the various input/output containers and wondering why nothing was working.

you do not need outpost engineering to unlock interstellar cargo link, you just need to finish manufacturing 1 which has no prequisite, don't know where you guys got this idea from that it's a requirement, if you took more then half a second to look at the research requirement you'd have seen that.

This video was good to say about where to get the interstellar link. Links can be used between planets with He 3. He3 is used when you want resources to come to your outpost to go from a starsystem to another.

Sooo... what happens to the Helium-3 that you put in the gas storage? Does it run out? Do you need to fill them up regularly?

Having so many damn problems with this. Currently i have a Normal System based cargo link set up to another planet on the same system to send helium 3, But for the lift of me, After linking a gas storage container to the outgoing box it never seems to fill up, and ends up sending nothing to the other outpost when the cargo ship arrives.

The Cargo Link - Interstellar seem to function even if only one side of the pair is supplied with He3.
