I had to upgrade from iOS 16.5 to 17.2.1 on my iPhone 14 to get this Photo Grid option. Otherwise using your other tutorial for creating side by side photos was a good workaround to make my own photo collage.

Now with 17.2.1 the 2 photos side by side works directly from photo grid shortcut too. Thanks for posting
