Roblox Doors - I SURVIVED AMBUSH IN THE GUARANTEED ITEM ROOM?!?! (He rebounded 4 times)

I figured that since it worked when i did it with rush, i was lucky to have the guaranteed item room when ambush came :o

To people freaking out about him getting red ambush: no, its not a rare variation of ambush, its just ambush's aura when you use high graphics. If you use low graphics, it would be pink instead

This is pretty much due to the entity's hitbox unable to reach you, due to the plant that's standing a little bit ahead of you. Also, he has a route where he can't reach you anyways. The door is like a barrier until it's opened, and there's no way for him to hit you unless he takes a route around the plant, which he never will, because that's the only route he can take. still insane tho

that is what you call ray-casting, if ANY line of code range anywhere from you or ambush he can get you, it doesnt matter how far you run he'll still kill you, unless you hid behind a pillar or something that blocks that raycasting code.

Ambush couldnt get you since he cant see you in his line of sight that kills. Genius.

You could also crouch and hide near the fallen bookshelf in that room to prevent rush and ambush

I think is meant to have a pathfinder. Is not coded to search the entire room, cuz fittingly, most time thigh speed enemies are chasing u through a hallway, but the GI room is a bigger room, meaning if u dont lie infront of the pathway, you are more likely to survive him as long u stay as far as possible

I knew the spot for like 2 months but ive never used the spot to hide from ambush, only rush

This also happened to me like since doors 70 i was just hearing ambush noise nonstop like if he glitched somewhere and when i reached door 100 i saw him stuck

ngl, i also survived ambush in that room but the difference is: glitch was involved
so ambush was coming and i was freaking out, ready to use my crucifix.
except, glitch grabbed and tped me somewhere else.
i had already given up, i thought glitch would tp me to ambush and get me killed: then..
glitch tped me to the same door i was and closed it for me. i was kinda scared so i backed off (reminder i didnt use the plant hide technique) and ambush didnt get me. i tried to use the crucifix but sadly i was out of range..

I mean yes, this works. Logically because of ambush's hitbox is shooting of off raycasting, meaning that if ambush's eyes touches a object the code stops, however if it was a player then you will be dead. Theoratically he's blind sometimes

Fun fact: While Rush follows a specific path, Ambush just beelines for the door. That means he will clip through the wall. If you are hiding in the room shaped like a plus with 4 hotel rooms, do not hide in one of the rooms that are close to the exit door. Let's say the exit door is to the right of the entrance door, do not hide on the hotel room in that corner, since ambush goes through those walls.
