With all respect to Dante and his abilities, Spawn at the peak is stronger. Read the comic. Spawn is reborn and receives power from the creator of the universe-a being called Mother.Spawn easily defeats God and the Devil, destroys the WHOLE WORLD, revives it and closes the portal to hell. Dante is clearly not capable of such a thing, considering that he needed his brother's help to defeat all the demons.
