A mirror is also very useful when on the street.
Those wide tires look great but are a power drain and throw up a hell of a lot of mud and water.

A Japanese company i think still make a 26"x 2" slick tire with inverted knobs built in.
Not only are they fast on a conventional MTB, but the wear rate is is extremely low and they are suprisingly good off-road.

Obviously they won't fit the rim, but it's just a thought for the maker to include a similar tire in a future model.

Hey NPL! That's a great display, believe me, I have the same one. You can setup the voltage/battery bar on the display relation. Just go to the menu. First ( + -) Then (PWR -). Afterwards toggle thru until you come across VOL. The battery bars will start to appear as well as some number. Switch between bars and set up a voltage for each one of them. Save changes and you are good to go. It wont tell exact voltage but you can start to get good estimates as you use the bike, cheers.

For ebike under $2, 000, I think Ecotric's bison and explorer are also good, both in terms of comfort and performance.🙂

Here's the questions, and it's true with every new ebike, who's the company, where are they located, what is support going to be like, how hard will parts be to get, do they have an office in the US?
There's so many of them now, and I'm sure you get bombarded with review requests, but it's getting to the point where reviews of the bikes, while important, need to include the entire customer experience and the risks involved.

This bike might have the best look of the retro mini-bike appearance, as the space within the frame is not so empty looking. The dual battery and the top tube that slopes down to form part of the seat tube makes the bike look busier, which is a good thing in my opinion.

i hope you're gonna do a project with this it has so much potential
if i'd be you i'll put the grin controller on this bike and set it to 48/60 to connect the other battery. when you want to ride fast connect the 60v when you want to ride slow with alot of range you'll put the 48v it'll probably make it alot faster and poppy.
in my honest opinion, this break system is not that good and i prefer (especially on ebikes that go over 40) four caliper ones with big diamiter disk breaks. take into consideration that if you gonna ride really fast you have the breaks for it
btw i really think you should change the gears to a single speed if you just want to use the throtle so you wont need that derailur that is just a ticking bomb that gonna destroy on you in a small crash

You would love a 360 camera! No need to try and get the bike in frame. Just have a camera on a stick and ride. No bad angles.

You should try/review the Wired Freedom ebike. Dual suspension, hydraulic brakes fat tire, 60v with a 40amp controller. It can hit almost 40mph and currently preorders are $1999

Samebike pilot ex $1500. I think it blows this out of water. It is amazing how many different brands there are.
