One of Scorseses most underrated movies

Love this movie. Too bad so many didn’t appreciate it. It has such a cool 80s vibe. It actually earned an Oscar nomination for Art Direction for the interiors of all those pool hauls. The Atlantic City scenes were incredible. Michael Ballhaus did a great job shooting the numerous sets and of course, the pool games.

Tom Cruise is legit in Scorsese's roster, it's so dope. The Hustler is a good one too, Paul Newman is so badass!

Vince didn't need Eddie anymore, but he did need Eddie when he was just a two-bit local poolshark.

Eddie needed Vince and Vince needed Eddie until he realized he didn't Eddie anymore.

This is a story about a man who was the best at his art form... A man that could only be beat if he let himself be beaten
