LG G Series: My First OLED TV Experience!

We have made a lot of videos on LED TVs, QLED TVs, so when the LG G2 OLED TV arrived in our office, we had to test it out and talk about it. OLED TV vs QLED TV? Which team are you on? 📺

Good review but I think you could have mentioned these points:

1. The main difference between the LG C2 and G2 is that the G2 has a heatsink, which helps dissipate heat, which should in theory, extend the lifespan of the OLED panel as well as allow it to be 20% brighter. Otherwise in terms of specs and gaming features, the C2 and G2 are identical.

2. With the G2, you also get a 5 year panel warranty from LG, which gives peace of mind for people like me who are worried about burn-in or any other longevity issues with the panel. You don't get this 5 year panel warranty with the C2. Maybe LG is using higher quality panels with the G2 or maybe LG is more confident about giving this warranty for the G2 because it has a heatsink.

3. The G2 is meant to be wall mounted so it doesn't come with a stand when you buy it. You will have to buy a stand separately if you want one. The C2 on the other hand comes with a stand.

The C2 55 inch is available on Amazon for around 1.4 lakhs and the G2 costs roughly 1.6 lakhs. I've heard that both TVs are being offered for slightly cheaper prices in retail stores like Reliance Digital and Pai International (C2 55 inch around 1.2 lakhs and G2 around 1.5 lakhs). Personally, I think it's worth spending 20k-30k more on the G2 for the heatsink and LG panel warranty.

All the ports in LG C1, G1, C2, G2 etc are HDMI 2.1. A big channel like yours can’t make these mistakes.

Little correction you need!
All the hdmi ports are 2.1 hence the 4k 120 support on all the ports

G-series and C-series OLeds. i.e G2, G1, Gx, C2, C1, Cx etc. have all HDMI ports as HDMI 2.1 not 2.0 as mentioned in the video

Hi Rupesh! I really want to know about the durability of the OLED display. It would be really great if you make a few series of videos every year testing this TV for any pixel burns. Technically, OLEDs are bound to burn one day, softwares can only delay that, but cannot avoid it. Would really love to hear your feedback and what the company says after the screen burns in.

I have 55 lg oled bought two and half year ago, it is great tv for the price picture quality is Gr8 but right now it started giving problem in display whole 1 inch of top side has turned grey but we bought extended warranty of 5 years by paying extra 10k we r getting it replaced only display which cost 80k as lg technician said so please buy extended warranty.otherwise no problem 👍👍
