Great video, I think you should have put a wager on the competition though. Looser eats a slice of “humble” pie or something to that affect. Love the energy and great shots.

Well, I guess the result is dependent of Location, location, location...🙂As far as I know, there's a BIG difference between Utah and coastal California in mid-October. It just is. As you said in the end, maybe you'd got more species visiting those big lake-locations but probably not as many as Chris got in California. California just is a prime birding state, no matter what season. Fingers crossed you get the Loon next time!

I just saw a dark eyed junco. (Upstate NY ) That means we are in for cold and snowy weather

I once spent 10-15 minutes trying to see a Marsh Wren. I was about 10 feet away but could only hear it and see reeds moving. Really elusive is right.
