Thanks for your review. It's really helpful. It's about time we have some alternatives to Samsung and iPhone. With Huawei banned and LG no longer making phones, phones have become boring. So I welcome honor with open arms especially being the only android phone with secure 3d facial unlock which I've loved on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P40 Pro. Vivo, Oppo and Xiaomi should also pursue globally. We'll then have such great choices.

Stop comparing it with Samsung. Honor Magic 5 pro was already better. 6 Pro is a big step ahead. Best battery, best selfie camera, 3D face unlock, best screen (PWM is a life saver), quickest shutter (the only android that competes with iphone in that department +smooth transitions), Desktop mode, IR blaster perfectly integrated with the Remote app, screen gestures, best multitasking and the new AI it just makes it the best smartohone out there. Try comparing photos of moving animals or children indoor and you'll see what I mean.

The "dynamic island" kills it. I wish even one company would release one phone with no selfie cam. If i really need to take one, i use the back camera and the volume up key for much better quality.

Simply a great device but dont get confused. If yoir looking for an All-Rounder Flagship in android segment, its clearly s23 ultra or s24 ultra (depends on budget)
If you looking for a Budget flagship with all rounder specs its clearly Honor magic 6 pro

Allow bootloader unlocking I will definitely buy. But huwaei/honor don’t like listening to customers that’s why they don’t get much customers.

It has a few minuses: 1) really slow software updates, honor magic 5 pro didn't even get the android 14 yet; 2) zoom photos are really sht unfortunately :( also the video quality it's really bad due to eis... otherwise it's a good phone, and I Don't know if I should switch from s23 ultra to this..
