Honor Magic 6 Pro Review | The Android iPhone?

Reviewing the Honor Magic 6 Pro, a global Samsung S24 Ultra rival and iPhone 15 Pro Max mimic with Squircle camera and serious gaming grunt. I've been testing the Honor Magic 6 Pro as my full-time phone for a week and here's my final verdict.

This near 7-inch phone's camera tech dominates that back end, and it's a capable shooter in any conditions. Even night photography isn't a hassle for the Honor Magic 6 Pro. You've got a 180MP zoom lens, which means decent telephoto shots in lower light, plus 4k video recording.

Gamers will also be happy with the performance and battery life here. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so even Genshin Impact and the most demanding games can play with a respectable frame rate. What's unexpected is the fact that Magic OS has improved, although the Honor Magic 6 Pro also takes influence from the iPhone 15 series with its floater selfie cam shenanigans and iOS features.

The rest of those specs aren't surprising. As well as stereo speakers, the Honor Magic 6 Pro boasts a premium AMOLED screen and plenty of storage. So if you're after a premium phone like the S24 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max, check this out!

Man I have the S24U and been seeing a few videos of this phone. That beautiful screen, UI and clever animations would make any iphone and samsung fanboy envious. I'm hoping next years line up of samsung can follow in this direction. One UI can use a face-lift

Just FYI GBoard lets you adjust the keyboard so you can add a little bit of space under the bottom to prevent the gesture problem

I've had the Magic 5 Pro since August and love it. For the £40pm i pay for it on Vodafone i don't think there's a better phone out there for the money.

I change my phones every 1-2 months because it's my hobby and I got Magic 6 Pro just recently. Coming from phones like Pixel 8 Pro, IP 14 Pro Max, RAZR 40 ULTRA (my recent trio). I agree with most of the things you said, but I was surprised when I heard your comment about stereo speakers. For me those are the best speakers I have ever heard in a phone, formerly I said that about my Pixel 8 Pro. There is clear base and clarity and it gets very loud without distortion and when I showed it to my friends they were shocked that it sound like a small soundbar.

Dear Uncle TechSpurt always love your comments it is always much appreciated this is a phone I am definitely going for this year it has an absolute going for it, yes the software is not 100% but can be worked around with to get desktop screen to be addressed a couple of questions I have for you it is 80watt wired charge I bought a ugreen 100watt charger it says it is compatible for phone where it's wattage will only be released to charge phone as needed not overcharge safe protection.And final question as it is 66reverse watt charger what size battery charger is enough of a battery bank to protect phone from way too much mah being stored to save battery on phone life cheers for all your comments and lastly with cameras would goggle photo app help in images being processed along with processor sorry about so many questions best wishes cheers Declan 👍👍🙏🙏

Did you notice any sun flares while taking a photos on a sunny day?That was very noticeable on Magic 5 pro.
