I just cant wait for someone to be able to simulate all my papers in a virtual environment so i can keep hold of them.

"The fact that we can simulate this at all is a miracle." That made me smile. It is a beautiful mix of art and math!

🤔
Next step: Throwing a bowl of pasta with sauce vertically against an elastic transparent surface & simulating a car wash with coloured water.

Now they just need to simulate the taste and we have the matrix!

Bake these complex simulations out into 3D animated raw data for import into any common package. Granted, the file size will be massive, and the sims wouldn't interact with custom scenery/props, but the textures, lighting and view angle could be animated. Perhaps a cloud-based streaming service that will stream the raw 3d vertex data to a users PC or VR headset, depending on camera placement. Probably something like this exists as a cloud-based service already. Stadia can't get here soon enough!

Imagine individual chips built for simulation types - liquids, solids, etc. If this could be implemented without massive chaos and rewriting of code, the results would be amazing. Maybe AI will reprogram special chips or design and print them from scratch depending on desired simulation / 3d world.

Is this Samwell Tarly at 3:40? I didn't know they do AI research at the Citadel in Oldtown.

Cool stuff!

Since you have set forward on a difficult path, can you describe strictly interfacial instabilities of coating flows for a single fiber maybe with simultaneous heat transfer.
Say for example fiber drawing experiment.
And as always my challenge is to describe the formation of a single droplet and then determine profile curvatures, and validity of Laplace Young equation.
Difficult to do even with actual images.
Final question: can you tackle lets say linear non-Newtonian fluids?

Okay, to run this in real time the program would have to be some 150000 times more efficient, or be in 150000x better hardware.
Considering the pair of them used for the render had 24 threads at ~2.4GHz, and a big GPU has over 2000 "threads" at ~2GHz.
We would only need some 1500 GPUs to render this thing in real time... Pretty doable on a super computer.
Although, that is also probably within the grasp of what a purpose built chipset could probably achieve.
If you was curious...

Will these methods be implemented into public software anytime soon?
