I will never forget the Holy Fire! We were on vacation in Pismo and came home Tuesday. Stayed with our daughter on Lake Elsinore. It burned to the edge of our street on Golden Horn. How do you wrap your brain around it? You can’t. I was crying watching this. So grateful to all the firefighters I can’t even say....such a heart wrenching time. Thanks for posting! Thanks for shout out! I’ll send you more if you need them.

That is how I started watching your channel. I was looking at Holy Fire stuff. I’m a Fire Captain in Lake Elsinore. I have been wanting to move to Tennessee for a few years. Love your content and views. Thanks for sharing

Watching your fire coverage really took me back to our fire disaster in Lake County, CA, in 2015. We lost everything on our 150 acres, but we were on a ridge, CalFire decided to camp out at our yard, and saved our house! But really miles and miles, thousands of acres, all views blackened. Horrific. I cried just watching, knowing the agony, the grief. And now, in green and lush SE OH, living a much less stressful life amid the beauty, enjoying the "spicy"!! And so glad your new drone is there! Keep up the thoughtful and informative work, friend!!

Man Taylor has grown a lot in 2 years. It’s crazy how fast kids grow. I blinked and my first daughter is 9 years old. What happened to the time. The fire is a perfect example of one of the reasons to leave CA, tired of this dry desert place.

I knew it, I knew it! Wahoo drone is back! (Sigh of relief!) That was a really good ending to a rather emotional journey on this one. I’ve never had to experience fire like you did. That had to be the worst experience on so many levels. (Amazing footage) And then the lovely honor quilt for Your Grand dad. You’re so right, They don’t come like that anymore. 😊🇺🇸

By far, the best video of yours I've seen! It was like a roller coaster of emotions. The fire footage and narration were heart wrenching and tense, seeing Gramps get that awesome quilt and how happy he seemed in getting it put a smile on my face, and the buildup and final "reveal" of the Drone Fairy's package...WOW. just WOW!!! NICE, Hoag!

That fire looked scary, I cant even imagine the range of emotions you and your neighbors were going through. Im impressed by the effort Cal Fire and those pilots put in to save those houses. I couldn't believe how low those planes flew, scary stuff.

Man! Memories, I lived in Grass Valley CA during the 49er fire, September 1988, our house was ok, but I remember the thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! As my husband stapled up the evacuation poster over the door of my relative... 2 adults. 2 children. All pets and livestock. EVACUATED!!! We'd waited more than 9 hrs as winds changed first one way then the other, hope? nope! hope?! and then run!run!run! House survived. One of a few in the neighborhood. Years later there were red retardant streaks on the paint, a badge of survival we were reluctant to paint over.

I could hear you "drone" on for hours about how happy you are about that package. Have fun flying it and keep it away from Dronechomper Lake. Thank you for sharing the footage of the fire and your reactions to it. Having never been that close to a blaze like that, it was quite eye opening how terrifying it would be. Glad everything worked out in the end for you, pal.

WOW! That was so AMAZING! The documentation of the Holy Fire-stunning. I learn so much from your style. You are so talented. I know I can do this. I have to start. I have the equipment, not as good as yours but it will get the job done. I also have an idea, to document this beautiful historical mansion and plantation that is across the street from where we are living in Nashville. I also have the time. I have to believe in my abilities and start filming and editing. I can do this. Thanks for this incredible video you posted. Glad to see that the drone is back and flying high.

Living here in OC, I remember watching this fire. Crazy to see how you were right in all that. That has to be the scariest feeling....the danger and its unknown outcome.

Great footage of the fire, but that’s a scare that just isn’t worth it. Don’t have to worry about that in Tennessee! So green and wet!

Oh man, that fire is some scary stuff. We had a few here on the central coast in CA, but none were even as close to home as that. Just glad to see y'all and your home made it out ok... Very cool drone surprise at the end. Love it So! So excited!

Cool another drone. Same model or different? I've been considering the mini to get into it myself. I've never seen that video on the Holy fire. Some amazing footage. I honestly teared up watching those planes hit that area again and again and again trying to save it. They worked their butt off. California needs to rethink their forestry program and work towards having less fuel for these fires. But they need to rethink about everything their govt touches.
