Created in celebration of the band’s upcoming 60th anniversary, Night Divides the Day opens up The Doors archives like never before. The band’s most definitive book yet presents rare photography, intimate interviews with Robby Krieger and John Densmore, and meticulously sourced archival text from Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek. Joining them are a host of contributors, a foreword by Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic, an afterword by maestro Gustavo Dudamel, and many more.

The anthology is presented in a limited-edition of only 2,000 numbered box sets, signed by John and Robby. Each set includes the 344-page signed edition, a 7” vinyl record with rare demos of "Hello, I Love You” and "Moonlight Drive,” and assorted historical memorabilia.

This is the ultimate account of The Doors, their incredible story and their enduring legacy.

J'écoute les Doors depuis 1973 et aujourd'hui, j'ai 66 ans. Je demande humblement à la jeunesse qui découvre ce merveilleux groupe : ne tombez pas dans l'idolâtrie de Jim Morrison, c'est sûrement quelque chose qu'il n'aimerait pas, et qui l'a un peu tué de son vivant. Les Doors, c'était quatre musiciens en osmose pour une histoire majeure de la musique populaire américaine. Le premier titre que j'ai entendu était '' Strange days '' et ce son si spécial, ce fut comme une révélation . J'aime particulièrement Morrison Hotel qui est pour moi l'album de la maturité, avant le somptueux LA Woman en apothéose, dont le magnifique et crépusculaire '' Riders on the storm '' . Nous avons tous un groupe préféré, et les Doors sont mes préférés. Salutations à tous. ♥️👍🥂
