fun fact: Alexander did actually tell Laurens he loved him, he wrote a letter titled 'Cold in my professions---warm in my friendships' and one of the first lines reads "I wish, my dear Laurens, it were in my power, by actions rather than words, to convince you that I love you." and in a few letters between the two men the editors has to BLUR some of the letter because of how sexual they were😨

Plot twist burr knew how hard Laurens's death hit Hamilton so they planned that duel, for Hamilton to raise his gun to the sky then get killed to be with the man he loved. The world looked at burr like the villain, but he was the hero of Hamilton and laurens's story.
