Quick retrospective look at one of my favorite games of all time, via its less than great release.

Important note: I had to crop the view on the game a little because it doesn't render in proper 2560x1440 and you could see my mouse curser at the edge all the time. Sadly, the cursor still found its way on one of the clips.

Sad to see they kept the new fugly UI and especially those HP bars under every player character during battles that clash with everything else in the game.

as a gamer of first of all games like Dead Space, Resident Evil and Tekken series I love this game also so much even if its not the kind of games I play actually! The story, the music the gameplay...Its just so AMAZING and incompareable!!!

I bought it on steam just purely for the hype over the soundtrack, (which I also downloaded), but can't even get past the screen where you choose your name. Literally can't press the button to advance to the next screen. Can't even start the actual gameplay!

doubt these vibes will ever be recreated, its good they didnt really remaster anything. although a remaster would be welcome to accompany the game, this version should be left as is.

Hmmm... I think I'll just stick to emulating the SNES version with the Retranslation patch

The PC version or any of the new versions sucked in my opinion. Old SNES version or Nintendo DS. That’s really it.

The dialogue was so odd and weird in the original that it made the game unique.
