Operating the PRIME-LINE High Security Door Lock

There seems to be some confusion over how these locks open. It's actually very simple. Pinch on the top and bottom, pull towards the door opening, then swing outwards towards the jamb.

After attempting to open the lock for the last hour and after reading the Amazon comments looking to see if I was the only trying to get it open I almost was ready to return it thinking it was defective. I'm glad you posted this video and the explanation on how to open the lock, it's bit different in the way it operates but after some practice it now works fine.

I want to buy these but there are several reviews of the pins falling out or the internal spring messing up making it difficult to open. Have you fixed this problem yet?

Now, what do we do when it seizes up and won’t move at all because the top pin came out? And it’s been stuck in the “locked position” for two months rendering that door useless? I have tried everything to get that lock to open, to take the bottom pin out like you would a pin in a door, but it’s just stuck locked.

Why isn't there a video showing this lock stopping a demonstrator kicking down a door? How do we know it works?
