You’ve got a good variety in your collection without it being overwhelming. I always have to remind myself not to overconsume makeup products because I just won’t get through them and I don’t want things to go to waste 💕

you have a nice sized collection! i don’t think people should feel bad about having large or small collections. as long as what you have is something that brings you joy and doesn’t hinder you in any way. ie in space, money, etc. ✨
i’m not really a minimalist myself but it’s good to be reminded to be a more conscious shopper. not that there’s anything wrong with buying some new products and enjoying them, but that we should also regularly be reminded to use and enjoy what we currently have ❤

After finding my “look” which is mostly just the no makeup (makeup) look, I am now widdling the excess down to what works for me. I had gone overboard, mainly because I truly didn’t know what would actually work for me. It’s a process to find one’s “Goldilocks zone”, I look at like an education. Sometimes things need to be tried before you know, but now I want to reduce the decision fatigue and have purposeful items to choose from. I’m still working on it!! Oh one more thing: the blushes you said almost don't show up on your face might have an use case lol! They could be good transition shades for the more pigmented blushes, or any blush that deviates a bit from your skin undertone. I've found that actually helps me spend less time blending, and in turn, not have to worry as much about tapping off my foundation in the process

Please just enjoy your makeup products, it is nice to have some variety and colours in makeup collection. Don't hear what they say about you have to much makeup. And if u don't want to declutter just keep them because you bought it all with your own money not theirs money. Btw i really love your minimalist colllection, i watch it more than 2 times just so chill and your voice just so relaxing ❤❤❤

Love seeing your minimal (or should I say sensible) makeup collection!!Can’t watch the large ones anymore. They always made me feel either uncomfortable or inadequate. I’m so mad because I just treated myself to an expensive mascara and I don’t like it at all. Now I’m going to have to force myself to use it as it cost so much 😢 I’m definitely going to do a makeup inventory tonight … feeling inspired ❤x

I have 48 products and I consider my collection huge :)) It is interesting how everything is relative, but I think you can consider yours minimal, it depends on how you feel. I really liked the video.
I also wanted to share that I never declutter mine, excpet if something is off, because it serves as a buffer that keeps me from overconsumption.
Makeup can last very long time, I have rouge allure velvet from chanel, bught in 2014, it is almost finished, but nothing is changed about it, it smells and performs perfectly. The time window on the packaging is the time they guarantee it will perform well, but it can last way longer.

Lovely collection 😊 You could always transfer the bullet of one of your other lipsticks into the packaging of the Chanel, that way you can still keep the nice case but with a fresh lipstick inside.

I love these videos! I will never have a minimal collection due to my preference, but I am committed to only purchasing what I will use. Its such a bummer to grab something and realize it doesn't work for you.

hi! in case you are getting rid of certain products because of the pressure some people might have put on you, it’s ok having that amount of makeup, it’s not too much and you don’t need to justify yourself for keeping certain products. Maybe it’s not the case, but I felt like telling you anyway. 💕💕

If the chanel lipstick doesn't smell or look weird - i might still be ok! There's good preservatives in lipstick.

I have a collection about your size, but I have a different distribution of products. So fun to watch! I have one blush, but 4 foundations, different distribution of products. I do try more products, but if I don’t love them I get rid of them. I live in an urban area with free piles all around, i wrote note that the products were hardly used and the date I brought it to the free pile (it’s usually gone in an hour)

my collection is about the same size as yours and it's a great amount of products for me! I also have ended up with a few concealers that don't work for me and I still find use for them as eyeshadow primer or as a mixing medium if I want to lighten up a blush or lip color, could be something to try if you want to get creative!

In the end we gotta have a few products for each function unless we're willing to compromise the finish, variety, our expensive products, our time etc. so it's a bit of a journey, right? I hope you have a pleasant one and congrats for keeping at it and for your collection.

If you really want to wear that lighter Shiseido foundation some time soon, I suppose you could try mixing it with darker products on the back of your hand

This is a great size collection. Mine is a similar size but I don’t use bronzer or concealer. I have less complexion items and more eye shadows. I too like variety in my lip colors.

Thank you this vid is relatable its good to see a collection which is in between. Just a word on your liquid eyeliner, makeup does expure and can cause infections - eye infections are particularly nasty. Maybe you could buy a new one when you find yourself fancying doing liquid eyeliner?
