Great insights. Thanks for the explanation. so, if you buy the day before and sell the day after, you could do this as much as you want to because it doesn't violate the PDT rule? The PDT rule only applies then when you buy and sell securities within the same day period, 3 times in a 5 day rolling period.

Thanks 4 the video. If you buy stock on etrade or TD Ameritrade, and want to hold on to it for years, is there a rule against holding on to stock that long? Would you incur fees for buying stock like Apple or Costco etc and not selling it for months or years?

question. if i buy stock on Monday then sell it on Tuesday morning then buy it again on the afternoon then sold it on Wednesday do it consider as a day trade or it still considered as a swing trade? thanks...

So is the PDT limit 3 or 4....because in other course for Day Trading you said it was 4 and here you are saying it is 3...

1.If you buy 100 shares and you only sell 30 does that count as a trade

2. If yes then what happens if you have 100 shares and you sell 30 shares 3 times, do the rest of the 10 shares stay in the stock until the 5 days are up?
