PDT rule is a bit more complicated than this short has the time to explain. I recommend reviewing the FINRA site and familiarizing yourself with the rule. Kudos to OP for posting and bringing this to the attention of whomever sees this, however FINRA rules often overlap and tend to be relatively complex.
PDT rules coincide with risk mitigation and there’s a line in to 2111 and quantitative suitability amongst other things.
Excessive trading for what would be potentially an incredibly high risk especially when done on margin.
