I like both versions in its own way. This one sounds more mature giving it a very sweet romantic vibe while the other one sounds more pop with a teenager/young adult feel to it which I can also enjoy.

I miss movies like the ones this is from. I feel back in early 2000’s young girls used to love watching these happy easy movies and look up to the characters. It was easy to point the bad from good, and there was a hidden moral to the story. Movies nowadays have no spark like movies from before. I feel sorry for the kids nowadays obsessed with technology, growing up too quickly.
