The secret to PERFECT English grammar

This video was inspired by a question that somebody asked me about a meme that they had seen on the internet.

The student wanted to know if the grammar in the meme was correct, and if it was ok to use this type of language.

In this video I’m going to answer that question, and the answer will reveal the secret to producing perfect English grammar, every time.

"Language doesn't exist because of grammar. Grammar exists because humans communicate." This is huge ❤

The problem is exactly this: sucessful comunication. When speaking English, I always feel that I am not succesfully comunicating my thoughts because of my poor English. I fell I am telling lies, not saying what I really think but what I know how to say. And I am not a lier!

Thanks a lot, i agree, but you can't deny, there're undestructable basic grammer rules, used to make people understand each other anyway and they can't be changed

I am a foriegn learner and sometimes I'm thinking how it is possible that native speakers are so different in speaking. I mean that for example when I listen to Christian I understand everything without any difficulty while there are people who are speaking in the way I'm struggling to recognize the words. What are the factors which are causing it - maybe shortcuts, speed of the speaking or something different. Hmmm

You are so incredible. Your explanation, your teaching is very powerful. I encountered your channel when I started to feel unconfident and desperate about my English. Watching your videos gives me motivation to continue to learn this language. I stopped to care about my level, I just enjoy the communication in English, about where I am now in this learning journey. Thank you giving me this inspiration.

The whole point of the meme is to be grammatically wrong. That's why it sounds cute and funny. It gives the vibe that your ability to communicate is being reduced to what a sleepy cat would be able to say.
To make such a meme presupposes an understanding of what an English speaking audience uses as standard; as correct. The deviation from that is the result of wit and skill, not ignorance and randomness - although the unintentional and the random can be interpreted as funny.
That being said, I agree with the mentality of understanding mistakes as a necessary part of the process of language learning.

I think that you're amazing teacher and I love taking classes with you. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I like the way you use examples from literature to explain the ideas, I think that many nouns in grammar can be used as verbs to facilitate language and communication even in French.

Gracias Christian siempre por tus aportes ricos en sentido, profundas reflexiones que quedan resonando. Intento encontrar la manera de enseñar inglés sin ser una repetidora de reglas porque he crecido con una madre norteamericana y hablando inglés y no sé cómo, pero sé las " tres columnas" de los verbos!! Una manera intuyo de enseñar, que sería ideal, es que no hubiera traducción de por medio, sino meros puentes, lazos, conecciones... As I know you speak Spanish, and may be you find it nice to read directly from Spanish first... I deeply appreciate your videos since you bring up reflections, thoughts or even put ourselves to doubt ... I think walking on a pavement of English is ever rocks moving and moving! Like no sure explanation for every exception hahaha
Well, anyways!!! Thank you ❤ from the 💜 I'll continue to try and find diverse meaning and communication with my students. Abrazos desde Argentina!!

I've put those words to thank you
