Strange how people whine about what the Camry is not, and was never meant to be. Makes no sense to complain that an apple isn't an orange.
Drove GM cars all my life. When my Bonneville's motor blew up AGAIN, I got a Camry. Solid, smooth, quiet, good handling, good MPG, strong, serious. Quality. When I first drove one, I could "feel" the difference in it and others I'd owned. "So THIS is what a quality car drives like". No wonder it's the top seller in the US, going on 10 years.

Cause Camry buyers aren't assholes who expect a Sti for 20k. Camrys are solid, reliable and quiet. I hate most reviewers cause they trash vehicles cause they don't meet overly high expectations. Micah is one of them for sure

I drove a 2002 Camry until this past October. It had 178k miles and no problems until the cat converter went out this past year. Rather than replace, I decided to finally get a new car. I looked seriously at the Camry hybrid before opting to "upgrade" to an Acura TL. After a month owning that, I wish I had bought the Camry. Yes, the TL is faster and more luxurious but to me, not worth the loss in fuel economy and the additional price.

I have 13 rav4 le AWD I just traded into 13 Camry XLE and I'm surprised how smooth it drives I highly recommend this car it's so comfy. i don't regret rav4 trading it to an XLE Camry 😊

December 2024 : I just bought a 2013 SE v6. It runs like first day new. Solid. Everything is working. Everything. Not a single rattle. Of course well maintained, I wouldn't buy any not maintained cars, even 2 years old. The reward of well maintaining a quality vehicule is it will last for very long time. This is where a Camry shines, it's a quality vehicule. And wonder why it's still a best seller in 2024.

The "Philippine version"of the Camry is not really a Philippine-specific car, It's really an Asian version, as it's sold in Russia, China, Thailand, Vietnam etc. as well. While the look is an objective subject, the level of luxury is the same as long as you don't consider the dealer-installed gimmicks.

All the haters can still hate. But edmunds just realeased their fastest selling cars of april and the camry hybrid was on the list. And on top of that the demand for the camry hybrid is so strong Toyota has added an extra shift at its plant, and they have had record 1st quater of 2012 sales.

I bought a 2010 Toyota Camry LE in November of 2014. Love it.  My sister this exact 2012 Toyota Camry XLE.  I think the interior design is way better then the exterior. But its a nice looking car.
