Starting from the second half of next year,... according to Poland's defense ministry,... a dozen FA-50s the same as the ones used in South Korea will be delivered first.
As for the rest,... the advanced version of the fighters manufactured specifically for Poland will be sent... starting early 2025.
36 of them will be delivered by the end of 2028.
The manufactuer the Korea Aerospace Industries said it's planning to build a local facility there for maintenance... as well as a fighter jet school for training.
And it's not just Poland that's interested in the FA-50s.
South Korea will reportedly be exporting 18 to Malaysia,... at a cost of around 700-million dollars.
