This is how you add an addition. Unlike some people put post to hold up the addition like a deck which in my opinion doesn't look or flow with the rest of the house.

who was your contractor? that is a pretty good price. I live in Northern VA, and they laugh at us with a budget of $120, 000 for a 500 sq addition.

I don’t understand why is it that the foundation is not a solid piece? Why only the wall foundation part and not the rest? Why that was done this way and why that makes a difference besides cost. Good video.

You must live really far south to have the footings so shallow.
