I am not a socialist, I think free market capitalism is the best tool for the betterment of conditions for everyone. However, I can't vote for the Conservatives this time. We need a true centre ground, mainstream government working for in the national interest. The Conservatives used to deliver this, but no longer. Did I hear him say “clause 4 on steroids”? So he is either supporting nationalisation which would make us in the left happy, or he means the Blair version which will delight the right of the party! He is hunting with the hounds and running with the hares as usual. I just wish he would be clear for once, for example will he nationalise the water utilities or not?
