I have and use Orvis rod's here in africa today i use an Ovis 3rd option hackle

I haven't seen No3 since Dane Preben Torp Jacobsen's days, my mentor. Still I really don't use this method as it kind of disturbs the hackle flow - silly, since it arguably guarantees a very sturdy and endurable fly. You try it, and then choose a thread with the same colour as the hackle - needless to say.

You should do a video on types of hackles thats more detailed, including coq de leon, soft hackle, Hungarian partridge and rooster.
