One thing that most news services are not mentioning is that the person who contacted Air traffic Control said the TCAS was picking up the objects even when ATC wasn't seeing them.

This evening I saw a very large object just outside of Northern Virginia in the panhandle of WV. Charlestown, Ranson and Kearneysville area. It appears to be near the bridge that crosses the Potomac River. I was very large with red and green lights that didn’t have any pattern. It also appeared to “cloak” almost digital and fuzzy as it disappeared and reappeared seconds later.

Hundred of locals have reported seeing this and some reported them closer to Leesburg Virginia and along the route 7 corridor.

Cave me the chills and felt venerable and now can’t sleep seeing it in the sky 5 hours later…

There is a US Coast Guard facility and an FBI building near here.
