Coloradans report seeing 'mysterious drones' flying near homes

Coloradans have reported sightings of 'mysterious drones' flying near their homes. FOX31's Ashley Michels spoke with residents and an aviation professor at MSU Denver on what the situation could mean.

Reporter is wrong about the rules. There are restrictions regarding flying at night, flying for commercial purposes. They are even required to transmit their RF ID.

There are no commercial drones available to consumers the size of cars. One that large would cost tens of thousands of dollars, maybe more. Now they are being seen in many states coast to coast, as many as 30 to 50 at a time. This is not misidentified aircraft or mischievous teens, it's a billion dollar project to custom-manufacture these in secret, hire all the people to distribute them (how, in 18 wheelers?) etc. They don't come (only) from the sea or how do you explain Colorado. These are UAPs. Someone official needs to say it out loud before the frigging things are over every town in the US making fools out of us for believing they're no big deal. Something huge is afoot.

We saw drones flying around Colorado the other night 12/10/24 the drones we saw were very large. You'd have to be a professional to properly control these large drones. They're not something you'd receive as a Christmas gift 💯

Pilot reports near Eugene, OR, which included a commercial airplane and fixed wing air ambulance flying at around 30, 000' MSL said these crafts were faster than anything they've ever witnessed. Estimating they were able to move from 30, 000' to 50, 000' MSL in an instant.

They're in Arizona, Kingman. They were watching the airport last night. I live in a two story house write at the hill and kingman, and you can see all over kingman, and they were right there.One followed me all over my freaking yard

This reporter should be ashamed, holding a hobby drone like it is comparable to the larger much more sophisticated ones being documented. This exact scenario played out over the night skies 4 years ago in Colorado and Nebraska. The official government response was the same, denial.
