BEST PLACES TO EAT IN ROME!
Save this for your next trip to ROME!!!
1 - TRAPIZZINO - this is a modern day Roman street food restaurant! Their signature dish is a crusty on the outside - soft on the inside beautifully baked bread in a little triangle shape stuffed with delicious fillings such as melanzane (aubergine/eggplant), red sauce and cheese or polpette (meatballs!) in red sauce and cheese! This street food is one of the most amazing things I've tried I'm not lying when I say I dream about this frequently! They also serve other Roman street food dishes such as suppli which are also delicious!
2. OSTERIA DA FORTUNATA - I know this place is all over the internet and because of that it is pretty pricey for a plate of pasta but I still think this is one of the best places in Rome to get a carbonara or cacio e pepe (typical Roman pasta dishes)! You also watch them literally making the pasta fresh in front of you!
3. TWO SIZES - the best tiramisu you can find on the streets in town!!! This little shop serves delicious tiramisu in little cups for you to take a way. The tiramisu tastes amazing! They also do other flavours as well as the classic tiramisu such as tiramisu with pistacchio and they sell other Italian sweet treats such as cannoli too!
4. SEU PIZZA ILLUMINATI - this place serves amazing pizza! They say it is kind of a fusion between neapolitan and roman pizza! I just got a margherita there which was absolutely divine 😋 however they have some really creative and unique toppings on their pizzas if you are wanting to try something different!
5. REGOLI PASTICCERIA - if you're looking for somewhere to try a traditional Italian/ Roman breakfast then look no further than this pasticceria! Here you will find all the locals also having their espresso or cappuccino by the bar with a cornetto or maritozzo too! The maritozzi is a traditional Roman sweet bread filled with cream that is typically eaten at breakfast! Definitely try this in Rome!
