The Craving Brain: Why We Always Want More

Many people live in a state of "not enough." They always want more: more holidays, more food, more likes on social media, and generally more "stuff." Part of this process is an attempt to relieve emotional discomfort, in the hope that these so-called rewards will make them happier, and bring them back into balance. Another aspect of this involves excessive amplification of the reward pathway in the brain, which can result in pathological craving and wanting for more stuff. In this video, I also discuss a potential solution to the problem.
