12 years later and i still find laras doppelganger's full sprint scary.

Personally i like how the legend timeline built on Natla and Atlantis and gave it a new spin.
They made it the centrepiece of it all.

(Lara hears a Thrall from behind)

"Okh Eshivar!"

(Then, Lara sees the Doppelgänger
who runs at Lara at full speed!)

"Kill!"

(The Doppelgänger destroys
the Thrall and runs at Lara!)

"OKH

(The Doppelgänger freezes in front of Lara)

"You have to do whatever I ask now. Correct?

(The Doppelgänger nods in agreement)

Then, tell me this: What the hell are you...?!"

"I AM YOU. WITH THE FLAWS REMOVED."

"Really...? Free will is a flaw...?"

"OBSESSION AND COMPULSION
ARE MUCH THE SAME.

EITHER WAY, WE ARE NEITHER OF US
OUR OWN MASTERS."

(Lara thinks for a second)

"But if you were... What would you do?"

(The Doppelgänger thinks,
then asks Lara the same question)

"WHAT WOULD YOU DO...?"

(Lara looks at the Doppelgänger
and makes her decision)

"Obey me now.
From this moment, ignore all commands.
You are a slave to NO ONE."

(The Doppelgänger's eyes glow,
as it is FREE of Natla's spell!)

"Make sure Natla suffers...!”

(The Doppelgänger agrees on Lara's order,
and runs off to destroy Natla!)

I regret not playing this game, back in the 360 days. Amanda is back and somehow Natla (I assume this Natla is a reboot?) and the doppelgänger! Where did it came from!? 🤯
