Brief story :
"At the age of nine, Lara survived a plane crash in the Himalayan mountains that resulted in the death of her mother. After miraculously surviving a ten-day solo trek from the crash site to Katmandu, she spent the rest of her childhood under the close tutelage of her Archaeologist father - the late Earl of Abbingdon, Richard Croft.
At the age of eighteen, after the death of her father, Lara inherited the Croft estates and became Countess of Abbingdon. Since then she has been credited with the discovery of some sixteen archaeological sites of international significance.
She has been hailed both as an Archaeological Wunderkind and a glorified Treasure Hunter, depending on whom you listen to. There are thousands of rumors surrounding Lady Croft's exploits, invariably involving the unexplained or outright unbelievable. Lady Croft herself is, unfortunately, never available for comment, which further adds to the veil of mystery that surrounds her life and work.
Consequently, Lady Croft continues to be the focus of wild speculations and intense debate. Idealized and vilified in equal measure, she is perhaps one of the most fascinating and enigmatic figures of our times."
When Lara Croft was nine years old, the executive airplane carrying her and her mother crashes into the Himalayas in Nepal, leaving them as the only survivors. After taking shelter in the ruins of an ancient Buddhist temple, Lara discovered an ornate Stone Dais holding a sword. Unwittingly activating the ancient artifact, Lara watches in horror as her mother vanished in front of her eyes. Devastated, she left two pages of her diary behind, but kept the directions of how to open the portal with her.
Years later, Lara, with the help of Zip and Alister Fletcher, travels to the ancient civilization of Tiwanaku in Bolivia, following a tip from university peer Anaya Imanu.

All the walkthrough are recorded with NextGen graphics on. The game itself have some technical issues. It can be solved via some extra mods to fix it.

This was my favorite TR, and I played them since the ps1 joints. The acrobatic combat (sliding into them to pop them up and you shoot to juggle never got old), the outfits, the fluidity of movement were unmatched. Perfect game. I wish the 2013 reboot series gave you her dual pistols. I was super disappointed when you never got them. This game was on par with the 007 games of the time. Great fun era

Came back to watch this for the nostalgia. It was the first video game i ever played with my dad on the PS2 when i was about 6. I never got very far in the game since i was so young, but i remember the funny remarks my dad would make when Laura did her acrobatics. I recently lost my dad and wish i could thank him for those times

I wanted to be her when I was young...I still admire her. My first TR game is the TR gold on the computer. These games are right up my ally...I love adventure. I’ve been hiking in all sorts of national parks all over the country. I love putting on my tall hiking boots, and a cute outfit like hers, braid my hair, I bring a little pack of stuff (weed, water, camera) and I go hiking. Jumping off rocks, pretending I’m being chased...i have real fun with it. I’ll be 33 soon and I hope to always have this playful outlook on life even when I’m an old woman. When I’m an old woman I will look back on all the adventure I’ve had and be grateful I pushed myself to get out there and have fun. I love camping with my husband and our 2 pitbull/huskies mix...the pitsky....beautiful dogs. I can make a bonfire in almost any weather condition....I love making bonfires....cooking tender juicy meats outside is my favorite...mmmm
