Hermitcraft - Prepping for Level 3, The Black Mines!

@TangoTek An idea for Lvl 4:
Keeping the fire and lava vibes, but making the level into a fiery Warden mansion. Some ideas for rooms would be:

-The Kitchen - Counters and such. Would be a good place to put droppers with food ingredients for making legendary cards. A walk in freezer may also be an option.

-The Dining Room - a Warden sized table, you could only get on top of with Jump Boost, where theres a treasure dropper, if you dont have the jumpies, you have to detour around.

-Living Room - parkour across the furniture in a literal scenario of 'the floor is lava'.

-A Swimming Pool filled with lava :) - has a high dive, and a clue could lead you which coord to jump in for a secret.

Dungeon Masters office - could be a secret room, or could be a regular room, you could fill with Easter Eggs, maybe put your classic skin in a closet, like that's where it's been the whole time while you made Decked Out.

Barracks - many wool 'beds' in a room - you could arrange it in a parkour puzzle to get to higher bunks and eventually to a secret.

An 'outside' dull garden - you can use the black concrete sky technique, the ground doesnt look nice, it's mostly dirt, and the grid of the dirt, and the occasional flower could be an answer to a step by step instruction of which dirt block to drop an item.

-Baby room - if you find a design for a baby warden, it would be really cool of a little scene with a baby Warden and baby ravager playing together.

- The library - has been done, but this could be more private library designed, as opposed to the rows you had in Decked Out 1. Would still be a good place to hide clues or Legendary recipes.

In conclusion, i think this concept would allow for straighter hallways, lined with lava, to contrast the other levels' curvy paths. The mansion room layout would make for easier Hazard doors to install, and the mansion aesthetic allows for carpets or wool to be incorporated, if you were planning on using those to strategize against the wardens, while at the same time, since its owned by the Wardens, you can spread as much Skulk as you want. Tango when you make the black market you can have different entrances from different floors WITHOUT people being able to cheat through it like a shortcut. Have the doors into it on pressure plates that put each door into an individual "open from outside -> open from inside" state using t flip flops, making it so you can only leave using the door you entered with. The inside pressure plate wouldn't work on the other doors cause they wouldn't have been opened from the outside and they would still be set as "open from outside". This can easily be done using t flip-flops and locking repeaters

I don’t know if this could work given the way Minecraft is, but I was just thinking about which direction the influence is coming from.

Is there an ancient evil in the depths of level 4 that some powerful frost mages tried to seal away? With Deepfrost Citadel being built to both keep people away and keep whatever the evil is inside?

Or, did an evil frost mage build the citadel and their creeping cold is now spreading throughout the caverns below like a miasma? Transforming the denizens of the caves with it?

If it’s the latter, you could still keep level 4 as a fiery volcanic landscape, but also add in some ice patches and crystals to symbolise the terrible influence the citadel and its mage are having on their surroundings. Their ice doesn’t melt.

re chairs .... I subluxed my l4 l5 vertebrae and both sijs a decade ago. To future proof I needed a chair that could extend almost flat and every angle in between. I got a cherry tree high back executive chair. Much better and comfy. I have to have a special cushion because of muscle wastage but now finally after2 years of treatment all subluxation were put back, I can finally sit in a chair.

A pontential idea is a roulette room with two colours, and you press a button underneath the colours to “place your bet”. The system would randomly pick one of the colours. If you guessed the correct colour, all your clank and hazard are reset, and you can go freely. If you guess I correctly, some form of punishment (death?) would be delivered. If you end up using this idea, put a sign that says Luclas in the corner of the room :)

Then drop the ingredients on the ground,
they runaround and pick them up,
Goto the nearest crafting table,
Craft the item then drop it on the ground.

It the most Minecrafty auto-craft mechanic I can think of. They should be made out of something expensive maybe Netherite, or you have to find them somewhere. I think it would be awesome and way better then auto hotkey. Especially since the alternative is spending forever pressing the same button over and over again.

1:07:17 in total contradiction, but the best chairs for a work or gaming station are car seats. Obviously, not the cheap ones, but a second hand unit from a luxury brand, with massage (small caveat that you need to provide your own brains for a program to actually work), heat and cooling (blower motor in the back) and various options for seat modification built in + real leather... yeah, can't beat that.
I paid less for all the parts needed than for a luxury gaming seat that has none of those comforts and is cheaply built.
I will admit that this isn't a project for someone who doesn't like using tools or has no electronics inclinations, but if you can power through those issues... yeah, this is a life chair. You'll never wear it as much as the action of getting in and out of the car would and if you can score one set, you can sell the second seat and make quite a bit out of the purchase price, because everyone's looking for seats. They come and go faster than any other object of an interior (at least, here in Europe, on the markets i look at).
