Quite sad. An IT lecturer said his students main aims are to build a company and hopefully one day a big Multi Corp will buy them out??? So this is the plan of the future generations.

This is really f*cked up! I hate it when Adobe acquires small competitors. It will either kill it or merge it into the expensive crap it sells. Fireworks software was a big disruptor in the early 2000s. Many developers liked it because it was affordable and it did everything Photoshop could do, releasing clean CSS code better than Dreamweaver, and had enough Illustration chomps for those who didn't need Illustrator. Adobe bought it and killed it. The FTC needs to intervene and stop Adobe from acquiring another competitor.
