All the plugs should be in motor except the one you are testing and for Tru compression it's only 3bumps on the gage

Hay fella, just wanted to say thanks I’ve had an issue with my 4 stroke Suzuki 60df 0psi compression on cylinder 4 didn’t have any sea foam as not widely available in UK so tried AC90 pumped half a can in there left it over night and bingo now getting 150psi cheers again

Get that motor out brother and take it for a rip love your content love your attitude your honesty and your infectious to watch

Looks like you had a sticky ring or two, which is why the penetrating oil works to free it up and get you a better compression.. it's not a miracle cure, but it's enough to get the engine running which is what it needs to do they get the compression rings to seat properly again.... And I noticed that you got good spark there judging by the way you jumped LOL

I had an old 3 cylinder 60 hp outboard that had 90 psi on all the cylinders after sitting for a few years. motor started and ran still Ran some sea foam in the gas tank and compression came back to 130 psi in all 3 cylinders.

Sticky rings or sticky reeds sea foam is good stuff it's amazing what that stuff will do I use it in everything I use love the stuff 👍

Putting oil, in this case the seafoam, in the cylinders increases the compression every time it’s the easy way to tell if rings are going bad. Being said, I’m impressed it was still higher after it ran for a bit

I'm trying this on a boat that has been sitting up for six years. It was suggested that I use this product but that I should take it slow. Spray 2 applications wait 24 to 48 hours, spin prop while in gear then do a compression check. Hope it gives me good results on my Evinrude 115.

I said the penatrating oil was worth a try, testing with all plugs out is correct, it would be worth testing again with wide open throttle.

Just did this to clean the piston rings. Psi 105 to 110 on all 4 to start, then 125 after deep creep, but the deep creep is forming the seal, so it's not a true value. I did do the sea foam shock treatment after the deep creep and I'm getting 118 on all 4 and it runs much better. Running 1989 88hp johnson spl.

I use seafoam in my boats fuel tank and my snowmobile tanks regularly I believe it works well

The compression increased because he charged the battery between tests. You can hear that it's cranking faster in the second test.

I'll be honest with you brother seafoam Deep Creek is very very good stuff I've used it with success the whole problem with your motor it hasn't been used it needs to be taken out and used like a small block Chevy car motor and everything will come back everything kind of has a heard and is sticking because it sat so long take take it out with some fuel treatment and you'll send Dan after running it for a certain amount of hours a decent amount of hours then recheck the compression and you will see the difference

A pro the motor at wide open throttle each time you test a cylinder.Use old plugs when using seafoam.Good luck guys

If you do the same test with engine oil, I'm sure you would get the same result. Sea Foam surely covers the cylinder surface and the ring, and now they seal better like they would do with any lubricant. The second test should be done after using the running the engine for some time to warm up and burn the lubricant.

I do not want to say SeaFoam does not work, many people swear by them and I put them in my tank now and then.

Seafoam, you better start a sponsorship for this man who's actively promoting your products gentlemen.

you should run the motor, let it cool then do compression again. if its been sitting, good chance a ring or 2 is just gummed up. those additives did nothing but help seal the rings because they were bone dry from sitting. the power tune is good stuff, however.

Could compression increased because of the oil sprayed in the cylinders? Asking for a friend

i found this video and you very well may have saved my tail on a little LT80 kids quad also a 2stroke. that had been sitting for a very long time while i slowly rebuilt it . at 1st i thought it was the starter well pulled that and everything was fine . then maybe the relay which it tested within spec on the ohm meter lastly got a new battery for it and it was still kind of struggling i guess from lack of lube tried that 1 time working like it should now . just sprayed a little more not much of deep creep going to letting it sit for 24 hrs before getting some premix fuel and a new plug tomorrow
