IFS can do plenty. In fact, IFS AND IRS is still good. That's what I have - front AND rear... I'm 6.5 Front travel, 7.5 Rear stock... with shock extensions MAYBE 9.5 rear now. I'm about the same, can pick up the front tire about 12-13 inches then the back tire comes up with swaybar connected. You are at or BEYOND all non-Wrangler Jeeps.
