Blender Tutorial: Fly / Walk navigation and record camera movement

Using the fly and walk navigation inside of Blender is a great way to move around the scene, even better when you record the camera movement.

yupp....blenders camera navigation (this and lock camera to view wich can be also used at the same time) has become my favorite way to navigate the scene...best of both worlds.

yeah i did the keyboard shortcut to ctrl+shift+alt+numpad5

But how control the speed of the movement? When you get close to objects.. just one click makes it move so fast!

Thanks for this. I feel incredibly stupid, but I can't replicate it! Been working on this for hours so there must be something simple I cannot figure out. I can enable navigation and fly around, but it doesn't record. How do you 'come out of' the navigation mode? I've tried the confirm (left button) and cancel (right button) but no effect. Help!!

Seems broken in 2.9? Nothing is recorded. Edit: Nope, I had to set a key on the first frame before recording ;)

what? every time i try to search for view navigation it just turns red and nothing shows up.

OK, so tried this, and Blender at some point just randomly decided that it was not going to work. I mean the walk keys just refused to do anything while recording keyframes. So to fix this - exited Blender, opened blender again in new scene - works fine. No idea why it just quit working or how to fix it. Extremely frustrating and annoying. The joys of learning a new program... ugh.
