Thank you so much Justin. I am very new to blender, and have just designed my wife's kitchen. I have used your tutorial to animate a walk through of the kitchen, including opening doors, drawers, and closing them through the walk through. I have watched many of your tutorials and you are extremely helpful, one of the more easy to follow teachers on the Internet. Early stages at this moment, there is a massive amount of learning to go obviously. I have been writing music on Cubase for many years and still haven't touched the surface of the amount of functions within the program. Same goes with da Vinci resolve. Once again thank you very much for your Time and input. You are are providing an excellent service for the novice like myself.

When using the Shift+~, sometimes footage can seem really jumpy and unrealistic as if it is a video game. If you go into the grapgh editor after selcting your camera you used, you add sample key frames then use the smoothing (alt+o) to make the footage nice a smooth and not so jumpy. If you want to make it look even more real like a hand held camera you can use the shakify addon from ian hubert to add natural movment to the scene after smoothing. This combined with the smooth movement gives a very realsitic look and allows for detailed walking camera movements with not much work.

Great tutorial! Didn't know about the Shift+` option for a more human-like flexible camera walk. Will have to try that in an upcoming project. Thanks!

Put output as images not video to avoid losing all if there is a crash. Rendering to images will have rendered until the moment of the crash and you can resume rendering from there. Then just load the image serie in a videoeditor (blender also works) and create the movie.

i really like the Shift+` function. It makes it look as if a person is actually holding camera recording the scene. If the scene is uber realistic, this can easily trick people into believing that it is recorded in real life.
