To someone who grew up in the 70’s/early 80’s, this song is an amalgamation of easily digestible music composed for the preteen/teen/family market from that time frame, (sonically, not lyrically). I’m instantly immersed in a swirling pot of sit com theme songs, kids tv, Top 40 pop, and commercials that I grew up hearing every day. I don’t know how Tyler did it as he wasn’t even alive back then, but he nailed it.
