There is a store I visit frequently & I am handicapped. Entitled people frequently park illegally. I watched someone get a ticket & it was so great to watch my tax dollars at work.

People think Americans with Disability Act (ADA) is not a real law does it really need to be enforced. I have gotten this kind of opinion by the police force and sheriff's department of Ventura County California. And don't even get me started with hotels not allowing service animals who are registered by the state.
Thank you for this post and getting the information out there.
The law is there to protect the handicapped and disabled not for the rich to be excluded from the law.

At our local Super One store, an employee's son used the Handicapped Spot to wait for his mother to get off work. I needed to Park there as a customer, with my Handicapped Placard, but never said anything. Pick your battles as the expression goes. Too old to get into it with an ignorant teenage boy.

I work in caregiving and the clients I give care to will sometimes ask me to drop them off at the door but want me to use their handicapped parking sign so they can walk out to the car after the store and I get so much hell after that when ppl see me parking in the handicapped spots. It is literally tourcher, ppl rally against me saying your not handicapped. I explain my circumstances and nobody believes me. Ive had ppl call the police. I just ignore them and walk on. Ive come out to find police waiting for me with my client and its always an ordeal. Nobody ever apologizes just claims they didnt know. Always claiming I didn't explain.

People give my daughter all kinds of crap. She took a serious fall and may have to have surgery. She has had procedures and therapy for s year. She had a little improvent and someone let their 70 lb dog ram her. She is in serious pain again! Why can't you control your dog or keep him home?

This actually happened to me the other day not a handicap spot but the cop actually threatened to give me a ticket for somebody being unlawfully parked to where I had to be unlawfully parked and the only way she would give that person a ticket as if I got one too

My husband and stepdaughter was handicapped we had a sticker in the window we parked outvan parking area for handicapped with lines some ass hole parked right on the lines where we couldn't get her ramp down please pay attention where you park .
