Astana Ballet Gala / Monaco / 14-15 September

The national Kazakh dance is the secret language of the soul of the people, harmoniously combining its greatness, wisdom and sincerity. One of the main directions of Astana Ballet Theater is the development and creation of new dance compositions based on national choreographic plastics. Of the decisive importance here is the reflection of the deep features of the character of the folk dance and its elements. After all, it is through the national dance that the audience gets to know and learn our culture. And it is for this reason that the national dance, which is invariably appears in all the tours of the Theater, became a kind of landmark of the concert program of Astana Ballet.
Working on new dance compositions for Astana Ballet Theater, Kazakh choreographers are trying to find a harmonious balance between ethnographic material and their choreography, without losing the feeling of the character and unique originality of the national dance.
