THE ASTANA BALLET THEATRE TOUR IN TBILISI

The Astana Ballet Theatre, the leading theatre of Kazakhstan, one of the brightest paragons of the ballet art of Central Asia, is glad to present its productions in Tbilisi!

The dance company of the Astana Ballet Theatre performed at such venues as the Mariinsky Theatre, Dubai Opera, Teatro Nuovo (Milan), Grimaldi Forum (Monaco), Linbury Theatre (the venue of the Royal Covent Garden Theatre, London), and Lincoln Center (New York).

Astana Ballet found its admirers all over the world: the author’s style, combining classical and modern choreography through the spectacle of national interpretation, captivates at first sight.

On November 14, the Astana Ballet Theatre will present a modern ballet “Salome” by Kazakhstani choreographer Mukaram Avakhri, chief choreographer of the theatre, themed on the play by Oscar Wilde about the famous biblical story in an original interpretation. Also one-act ballet “A Fuego Lento” (Slow Fire) choreographed by Ricardo Amarante will be presented.

On November 15, the company of the theatre will present the internationally favoured program “Heritage of the Great Steppe”, a national divertissement, which includes various choreographic miniatures created by choreographers Aigul Tati and Mukaram Avakhri.

The box offices are open from 11 am to 7 pm, there is a lunch hour.
