Calculus 2: Ratio Test Practice (Part I)

This video is going to be part 1 of our ratio test practice problems.

When in doubt, use the ratio test. Seriously though... do it. The ratio test is extremely useful, not only because it can help deal with some really disgusting series, but also because it can prove absolute convergence.

The ratio test should be your go to when you see a factorial. Don't mess around with any other test because you can get tripped up very quickly with limits and factorials.

While the ratio test is very useful, use your newfound power wisely. Don't abuse it.

Seriously though, if you automatically use ratio test for every single series, you could be wasting time (if you could have just used something like test for divergence) that could be much better spent on other harder series.
