There will surely be some weather interaction b/c that player stats screenshot had something about Body Heat Regeneration - so gotta get some cold resistance! I've seen some potions already that talk about cold protection, but never saw the need until now.

Would it be possible to be able to rotate the building blocks more than just 90°? Would make it easier to line up builds with the landscape

still waiting on valheim like mechanics that give us a reason to fortify our bases, this game has so much potential with base defense but its held back by the lack of any need to defend it. i also want to see us rebuild our civilization with npc's that aren't crafters just doing work like tilling the feeds, raising livestock, our even just interacting with objects just to make our base feel more alive.

and the last thing i want is for the shroud to become a real ever-present danger to us over time as we defeat bosses which then raises our notoriety level and starts attack waves against our base and at higher levels even the shroud creep will try to grow over our base and corrupt it, and its up to us to find ways to strengthen our flame enough to push back the shroud and burn away its influence. i want to be able to find a way to win against the shroud, not just last longer in it but to push it back entirely, i want bigger stakes and a real reason to be afraid but brave.

edit: another thing that i'd like is a snap mechanic to allow us to snap the borders of our max level flame altars
together, it is a genuine pain to spend hours trying to line up the borders only to miss by a single blocks width.
