Very well made Guide :) You get baby animals btw. by popping down an extra bed so if u wanna have baby Yaks you have 2 beds for the parents and one empty bed and then they make a baby :)

Tip: WHen you see the question mark (?) you DONT have to run and hide just stop for a few seconds then they will go back to eating the bait. (This is the question mark with the round timer not the solid question mark with no circle)

For everyone, struggling to tame animals. Wear deersstalker armour later stage game. And adjust the game difficulty not to loos heart❤. The setting is at beginning when you choose character play. You can also adjust the shroud time and length of night. You can tweak any feature there

Question mark is not back away, it means stand still. Moving at all, even backing off, might startle the animal and lose you progress. Red exclamation means back off fast. Question mark means freeze in place.

Crouch up to the animal until u see the question mark throw the bait wait for it to come close then u squid game to pet it stop when u see another question mark pop up after u pet it crouch away as fast as possible and repeat, always stay crouched and make sure all enemies are dealt with before u try it so u don't lose hearts in the process

Taming regular goats was easy-peasy. The dog was hard, I gave up. Taming mountain goats was really frustrating, they are so easily alerted so you never get a chance, and the food keeps gliding down the slopes. Yaks seems much easier, but I haven't got the bait recipe yet.

No puppies or kittens yet. The deer are a pain, they come in the house. The frizzy goats are breeding like rabbits but the rabbits aren't. They don't give buffs either.😀

I feel like yaks reproduce somewhat consistently given enough empty beds. I had only 3 at the start but after a day of leaving server running I have 6
