Is that how Palaeontologists flirt with each other? "Hey girl are you a saber tooth cat? Cus you got a killer smile"

I don't get why these videos have so many dislikes. They are fantastically edited, super clear, and with great information. YouTube really confuses me at times.

Excellent video as usual. Vox should get way more attention than it does. Its up there with the greats in terms of quality and information.

"but how can the animals be from 10, 000 years ago, if the earth is just 2016 years old, and flat?"

Loved the "puppet theater" in-between the real-life segments. Almost made me feel like I watched morning cartoons again..

My favorite substitute teacher would bring a saber tooth skull (with teeth) mold, it was aluminum, he would let us line up and see if our heads would fit in its jaws, and our little eight year old heads did fit.

How on earth do they wrap their mouths on anything? Huge teeth block a lot getting in, unless the can open their mouths really wide there is only a very small amount of clearance space between the tip of the teeth and the top of the jaw.

I don't think the Cubs would have to stay with the mother that long. They would probably leave at an average age and take down smaller game until they fully matured. Bear and lion cubs do that all the time in the wild and can stick together after leaving the mother for a while

This narrator interrupts so often and so needlessly. Jesus just let the scientist talk or just talk yourself!
