Every time I hear Madness I think of The Young Ones 🤣🤣 it's an English comedy TV show from the early 80's. They had this group perform in their house 😂💖

Madness, The English Beat, Selecter, The Specials and Bad Manners were part of this 80s ska revival. I would recommend The English Beat next with Save It For Later, Mirror in the Bathroom and their ska version of the Motown classic Tears of a Clown.

Madness were one of the biggest bands in the UK in the 80's (& late 70's) and are still making new music. 'Embarrassment', 'My Girl', 'House of Fun', 'Baggy Trousers', 'One Step Beyond', 'Bed & Breakfast Man', 'It Must Be Love', 'The Sun & The Rain', 'The Ghost Train', 'Lovestruck', 'Drip Fed Fred (feat. Ian Dury) - so many great singles.

Just a memory: Olympics - London 2012 Closing Ceremony … such a joy when Madness came in and the good old British street party sequence…and the WHOLE stadium singing along! 😆😆☺️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
