(#6) Acrylic Skin Jewelry - What To Do With That Paint Pouring Run Off

preview_player
Показать описание
I let the paint that runs off my canvas during a pour dry. Once it's dry I can pull it up off the disposable plastic table cloth I use as my drop cloth under my painting. I can then glue on glass cabochons to the interesting areas of the acrylic skins. After they dry I trim any excess skin from around the cabochon and select a tray for it to set in. Then I just glue the cab' into the tray and allow it to dry. Once dry it's ready to hang from a necklace of your choice.

Fun fun! Much easier to use paint skins than resin skins when they’re dried/cured! Turned out great! 🙂

Whoa, that is one gorgeous paint skin you have there! And I love the cabochons you created and showed. Thank you so much for the information on the Lexan Scissors. I will get some of those. I like the way that Diamond Glaze Glue works. It looks so much better than the E6000.
BTW, I love the face on your thumbnail! Happy hugs ~Cheryl

What color would you recommend to put on the bronze, copper and black bezel trays
